Give a group card + gift

Contributors pay a minimal payment processing fee. 1.5% + $0.10 for MC/Visa/Amex or 2.3% + $0.30 for Paypal. No charge for gift purchases or flat 2% for withdrawals.

The free group card was a fantastic way to connect during the challenging times of Covid. To keep offering new features like scheduling and a wider design selection, the group card will transition to a $5.50 AUD charge per card from June 20, 2024.

We've recently updated our pricing based on customer feedback.

  • For collections setup after October 11th/12th, when you collect money to spend on a gift or eGift card from one of our 70+ retail partners, the Group Card is free. See what's available in the Gift Store.
  • Just need a Group Card? It's $5.50 AUD. See what's included here.
  • Prefer to withdraw the cash you collected? There's a flat 2% fee (available in Australia only).
  • Contributors pay a minimal payment processing fee.
    • 1.5% + $0.10 for MasterCard/Visa?Amex
    • 2.3% + $0.30 for PayPal

 

For collections setup before October 11th/12th in Australia, the old fees still apply. Fees are calculated per contribution and vary by payment type as follows:

  • 2.0% + $0.35 cents per transaction for domestic credit cards
  • 2.3% + $0.35 cents per transaction for American Express cards
  • 3.0% + $0.40 cents per transaction for PayPal
  • 5.0% + $0.35 cents per transaction for international credit cards

If you spend your collection at our gift store, you can spend the total amount collected. However, If you withdraw the your collection to your personal bank account (third party transfers are not allowed), the sum of these fees will be automatically deducted from the total amount available to withdraw. 
 

We’ve recently updated our fees and charges in 2 primary ways based on customer feedback. 

For all collections setup from October 11th/12th in Australia:

  1. The payment processing fees have been lowered. Now, every contribution will be charged the new processing fees. The new per contribution rates are:
    1.  1.5% + $0.10 for mc/visa/amex and 
    2. 2.3% + $0.30 for PayPal 
  2. The charge to withdraw collected funds has been changed to a flat 2%. This change makes it easier to understand and more transparent for the customer organising the collection. 

To buy a 🎁 from our gift store remains FREE. So if you want to give the ultimate gift (allowing the recipient to choose what they’d ❤️), give the AnyCard and let them choose from thousands of gifts offered by our 70+ Aussie retailers.

Sure! We’re about helping you do good things. If that’s a beautiful card with messages, then great. During the setup process, you'll be asked what we can help you with, please select a card only.

Anyone anywhere can create a group card with GroupTogether.


If you'd also like to collect funds for a group gift, that is only available to residents of Australia (collect in AUD) or the US (collect in USD). Please note that while we accept payments from most countries, the funds will be converted to Australian dollars if using the AU site or US dollars if using the US site. This means friends with International credit cards will see a currency conversion on their statement.


If you're collecting in Australia, once the collection closes the funds can only be spent on Australian gifts, eGift cards or withdrawn to the organiser's Australian bank account. If you're collecting in the US, once the collection closes the funds can only be spent on US gifts and eGift Cards.
