PTA fundraising can feel like a full-time job you didn’t technically apply for – between bake sales and permission slips, it’s a lot.

The good news? You don’t need a 30-page strategy document or a corporate sponsorship from a cereal brand to raise meaningful funds. You need simple ideas that are easy to organize, easy to explain and easy for parents to say yes to.

Here are 15 PTA fundraising ideas that actually work. They’re realistic, repeatable and – most importantly – drama-free.

1. The Classic Bake Sale  

Yes, it’s been done before. But you know what? There’s a reason for that – it works. Every time.

But instead of 20 trays of chocolate chip cookies, coordinate inclusive categories:
