How to Print Your GroupTogether Card at Staples or FedEx
So you've created a beautiful GroupTogether card filled with heartfelt messages—and now you want to print it out and share it IRL? 🎉 Good news: it’s easy to print your card at popular print shops like Staples (recommended) and FedEx. We’ll walk you through the steps depending on how many pages of messages your card has. Let’s do this!

For Cards with 2 Pages of Messages
Want a sleek double-sided print that looks great folded in half? Here’s how to prep your file and print it at Staples (recommended) or FedEx.
Step 1: Prepare Your PDF
- Open your card’s PDF
(Tip: On a Mac, Preview works great.) Insert a blank page
Go to:Edit > Insert > Blank Page
Reorder the pages
Make sure the blank page is first, followed by the front cover, and then the two message pages.- Print setup
- Go to
File > Print - Change paper size to 11" x 17"
- Under the “Layout” section, change Pages per Sheet from 1 to 2
Go to the PDF dropdown (bottom-left corner) and select Save as PDF
- Go to
Option A: Print at Staples
- Go to Staples.com
Navigate to:
Shop Print and Marketing > Document Printing > Simple Print
- Click Start Project and upload your file
- Set:
- Paper size to 11x17 Ledger (landscape)
- Double-Sided printing
- Print "Head to head"
- Paper White Cardstock 110lb Index
- You’re good to go!
Option B: Print at FedEx
- Go to FedEx.com
Navigate to:
Business & Marketing Essentials > Copies
- Upload your newly saved PDF
- Change:
- Paper size to 11x17
- Print style from Single-Sided to Double-Sided
- In the requests section, write "Print head to head". This will ensure the inside of your card will not be printed upside down.
- Paper weight Cardstock
- That’s it! 🎉
For Cards with 3 or More Pages of Messages
For cards with more than 2 page of messages, we recommend Staples. If your GroupTogether card has more than 2 pages of messages, the best option is to print it as a booklet. This will be staple bound. Here’s how.
For this option, upload your file in single pages in reading order, i.e. don't use the double page spread with rearranged order as instructed for the cards with 2 pages of messages.
Option A: Print a Booklet at Staples
- Go to Staples.com
- Navigate to:
Shop Products > Booklets - Click Start Project and upload your GroupTogether PDF
- Select 8.5” x 11” booklet size
- Select Paper weight, recommended: 80# Gloss Cover
Preview to make sure everything looks just right
📌 Note: Booklets require a minimum of 8 pages, and total pages must be a multiple of 4. If your card is shorter, you may want to add some blank pages, or reorganize the number of columns in your card to reduce or add pages, in your GroupTogether card editor.
Option B: Print at FedEx
If you prefer FedEx, there is a coil-bound booklet that you can use. Here’s what to do:
- Go to FedEx.com
- Navigate to:
Copies & Custom Documents - Upload your file and select double-sided printing on standard paper size (8.5”x11”)
- Choose "Coil" for binding type.
A quick note: Cardstock options and availability can vary by location, so it's worth checking with your local FedEx Office or Staples before placing your order. They can let you know what paper weights, finishes and printing services are available, helping you choose the best option for your GroupTogether card.
